Flea Market Finds Fridays! Episode 10
Flea Market Finds $10 Challenge!
Congratulations to us! We made it to our tenth Flea Market Finds Fridays! To celebrate we thought we’d try something fun: a $10 Challenge.
The challenge was simple. Jason and I went to the flea market with $10 each to see who could come out with the coolest haul. Who the winner was is up to you! Check out the unveiling and let us know in the comment section who you think grabbed the best finds!
You can’t go wrong with raptors!
I found officially licensed Jurassic Park toys! Two raptors, to be specific. Two raptors with bite-attack action! Dinosaurs are always amazing, and these little guys were super-cheap.
“I vant to suck your blood!”
It was a total surprise to come across a “Dracula” graphic novel at the flea market. And it’s not just a random Dracula-esque story: it’s actually a Universal Monsters license! It’s based on the actual UM movie! A wicked awesome find for me to add to the comic collection.
“How do you like your STAKE, fang-boy?!”
Now this is just funny. At the same time that I find a “Dracula” graphic novel, I find a Deadpool graphic novel called “Dracula’s Gauntlet” in which the merc with the mouth battles the most famous vampire in the world! That just couldn’t be more up my alley!
Jason started off his haul with not one or two, but four “Street Sharks” toys. If you didn’t grow up with Street Sharks you might not understand, but these are amazing. This show was one of the anthropomorphic animal shows our childhood, so this was a really cool find for Jason.
You know we’re fools for anything Dragon Ball, so how could Jason possibly pass up a super-cheap Piccolo figure? Especially when it has “karate chop action” (which, in this case, is total “hissy fit action”)?
“Special All-Toilet Issue!”
What’s the most obvious next step when you make a movie that’s gross, grotesque, and packed to the gills with extraordinarily crude adult humor? Why, you adapt it for children of course! Jason found a “Toxic Crusaders” comic for his haul and couldn’t be more amused by it. Toxie is amazing no matter what medium he comes in!
What’s the Conclusion, Hunters?
So now that you’ve seen our hauls for the $10 Challenge, who do you think was the winner of our special tenth Flea Market Finds Fridays? Let us know in the comment section! And don’t forget, if you’re a flea market hunter yourself, share pics of your finds on social media and tag us so we can see!
